Hi, this is my first post, so please don't shout at me, well, first in this board anyway. does anyone know of any cheap ad removing software that i can install on my pc? i tried admuncher, but you need a credit card and i only own a visa delta card, so does anyone know of any good ones i can get? sorry if this has been discussed before. Kay.
I really, really, really recommend admuncher. Nothing, and I mean nothing, can bbeat it. The only thing I've found to come even close is http://www.superadblocker.com. If you can't use that either, then go with www.proxomitron.info. It's completely free, but you will need to learn regexp and html to set up your filters the way you want them. Once you do, of course, the web is your turckey and you can pretty much rewrite any page any way you like on the fly (IE on my laptop I ad google search forms to the top of every site I view, take off content menus from the top of some sites, etc).
